Community Waltham Forest is offering a workshop and lunch, inviting local people involved in the community sector to a half day workshop on 3rd August to find out about the new ‘Connecting Communities’ programme. At the end of the workshop they will be providing lunch and the opportunity for networking and further conversation.
Driven by Community Waltham Forest’s new corporate strategy, Creating Futures, and the Integrated Communities funding from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), Connecting Communities represents a new way of thinking about the borough’s priorities, how they can be addressed, and the role everyone can play in:
- Improving life chances
- Creating a better sense of community
- Increasing integration across the whole borough
- Responding more effectively to the evolving needs of a growing and changing borough
